Notes

I recently visited Bill’s in Spinningfields and went for the Bill’s Big Brunch, and it did not disappoint.

The atmosphere is really relaxed but still feels like a treat. It is a great spot for a catch up because it feels lively without being too loud. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable when I mentioned I was coeliac, which always makes a difference straight away.

I ordered the Bill’s Big Brunch gluten free and it came loaded. Crispy bacon, sausages, fried eggs, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, hash browns and gluten free toast. Everything felt generous and well cooked. The gluten free toast held up well and did not fall apart, which is always a win. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and the portion size definitely kept me full for the rest of the day.

From a coeliac point of view, I felt confident eating there. The staff noted the allergy clearly and reassured me about kitchen procedures. It is always worth double checking about cross contamination, but my experience was positive and I felt looked after.

If you are looking for a solid gluten free brunch option in Manchester city centre, Bill’s Big Brunch is a great choice. It is one of those reliable places you can return to when you want something filling and familiar without the stress.
